🥶😉BLOG POST #3 – Weekend Wrap-Up: Cold Hands, Full Heart, Big Dreams

This weekend was one of those beautiful reminders of why I started YumYumRunner™️ in the first place.

The Renaissance Fair was amazing — even with freezing cold rain soaking through my obnoxiously chunky (but amazing platform sandals)Doc Martins, jackets, and every layer I thought would keep me warm. And honestly? I wouldn’t change a single minute of it.

There’s something powerful about standing face-to-face with creators who are building with their hearts. Artists. Bakers. Makers. Dreamers. People who pour themselves into what they do, not because it’s easy — but because it matters. These are the people YumYumRunner™️ was built for.

I had the chance to connect with some truly incredible local creators, and one of the most exciting moments was talking with Kate from Next Door Market. She was so warm, so supportive, and genuinely excited about what we’re building. Those kinds of conversations stay with you. They remind you that you’re not crazy for dreaming big — you’re right on time.

And behind all of this… the late nights.

Multiple nights of falling asleep at 4 and 5 AM, brain buzzing, heart racing, building slide by slide — my Investor Pitch Deck is finally finished. And it’s not just a deck.

It’s me.
It has my story.
My fire.
My mission.
My community.

Every slide reflects what it took to get here — the belief, the tears, the doubt, the late-night breakthroughs. It feels real. It feels honest. And for the first time, it feels like something I can stand behind completely without shrinking myself.

This weekend wasn’t about the weather.
It wasn’t about soaked shoes or frozen fingers.
It was about connection.
Momentum.

And seeing my dream reflected in the people I met along the way.
I’m tired — but I’m filled up.
I’m exhausted — but I’m excited.
This is what building something meaningful feels like.
And we’re just getting started. 🤍
