Blog Post #7 – 💛 The Part No One Talks About

When people talk about starting a business, they usually talk about the win.
The launch day.
The investors.
The “look how far you’ve come.”
The shiny parts.

What they never talk about — what they almost never admit out loud — is the lonely part.

The part where you’re working late at night, staring at a screen until your eyes burn, trying to bring something into the world that only you can see.
The part where your mind is full but your phone is quiet.
The part where someone you believed in goes silent without explanation.
The part where you wonder if you’re doing something wrong, when in reality… you’re just doing something big.

No one prepares you for that.

Starting YumYumRunner™ has been one of the most exciting chapters of my life — but it has also been one of the loneliest.
Not because I don’t have people around me, but because dreams like this require a kind of focus, courage, and heart that can feel isolating.

You lose people along the way.
You outgrow certain circles.
You learn who checks on you not because they want something from you — but because they genuinely care.

And that’s the part I hold onto.

Because for every person who vanished without reason…
there are people who stayed.
People who encouraged me.
People who believed in YumYumRunner™ before it existed anywhere except my imagination.
People who saw my heart before they saw the platform.
People who reminded me that I’m not building this alone — even on the days it feels like I am.

I will remember them.
The ones who were there in the quiet part of the story.
Not the ones who magically show up once things take off.
Not the ones who only clap when the room is full.
Not the ones who support once it’s safe.

I’ll remember the people who walked with me through the uncertainty, the trial-and-error, the frustration, the confusion — the ones who stood beside me while the foundation was still being poured.

Those are the people I’m building YumYumRunner™ for.
Those are the people I’ll carry with me into the next chapter.
And those are the people who will always have a seat at my table when this becomes everything I know it can be.

This journey isn’t glamorous every day.
It’s real, raw, and sometimes heavy.
But it’s mine.
And I’m proud of it.
Because every lonely moment is matched by the belief that I am building something bigger than myself — something meaningful, something needed, something that will touch lives in ways I can’t even see yet.

So here I am, still showing up.
Still building.
Still believing.
