Welcome to YumYumRunner™, a locally driven online marketplace designed to uplift creators, small businesses, home chefs, and artisans throughout Hampton Roads and beyond. By accessing or using our website, marketplace, or delivery services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree, you may not use our platform.
1. About YumYumRunner™
YumYumRunner™ connects customers with independent vendors who create, craft, cook, or sell goods. We also offer local delivery services for eligible orders through our approved drivers.
YumYumRunner™ does not produce, manufacture, or ship vendor products. Vendors are independent businesses fully responsible for their own listings, inventory, pricing, fulfillment, and customer service related to shipped orders.
2. Use of the Platform
To use the YumYumRunner™ website, you agree that:
- You are at least 18 years old or have parental permission.
- You will not misuse the site, attempt fraud, or disrupt normal operations.
- You will provide accurate information when placing orders or creating an account.
We reserve the right to deny service to any user who violates these terms.
3. Vendor Relationship
Vendors on YumYumRunner™ are independent sellers, not employees of YumYumRunner™.
Each vendor is responsible for:
- Product descriptions, photos, pricing, and policies
- Preparing items for delivery or shipment
- Handling customer questions about their products
- Honoring return or replacement agreements for shipped items
YumYumRunner™ provides the platform and local delivery service but does not guarantee vendor performance.
4. Local Delivery Service
Local delivery is fulfilled exclusively by vetted YumYumRunner-approved drivers.
Delivery Safety Rules
To protect both customers and drivers, the following policies apply:
- Deliveries are made to the front door only for houses.
- Drivers will not enter homes, garages, backyards, or any non-front-facing areas.
- For apartment complexes, deliveries are left at the mail room, package area, or front desk. Drivers do not deliver directly to apartment doors.
- For nighttime deliveries, customers must ensure the front light is on and the walkway is clear.
- If conditions are unsafe or access is obstructed, the driver may contact the customer or leave the order at the safest accessible location.
These policies exist to prioritize safety and eliminate risks commonly faced by gig-economy drivers.
5. Shipping (Non-Local Orders)
If a customer is outside the delivery radius or chooses standard shipping:
- Shipping is handled solely by the vendor.
- Customers pay the full cost of shipping directly.
- YumYumRunner™ is not responsible for shipping delays, damages, or lost packages.
- Tracking and communication regarding shipped items is between the customer and the vendor.
6. Fees and Payments
- Customers pay for products and any applicable delivery fees at checkout.
- Vendors receive payment for their products minus YumYumRunner’s platform commission.
- All financial transactions are processed securely through our integrated payment providers.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
Refunds for shipped orders follow the vendor’s individual policies.
Refunds for local delivery orders may be issued only when:
- An item arrives damaged due to delivery handling
- An incorrect item was delivered
- The vendor fails to prepare the order
Cancellation requests for local delivery must be submitted before the vendor begins preparing the order.

8. Compliance with Laws
All vendors and customers must comply with federal, state, and local laws, including:
- Cottage food laws
- Business licensing rules
- Health and safety requirements
- Delivery and transportation regulations
YumYumRunner™ may remove listings or vendors who violate legal guidelines.
9. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior
- Harass vendors, drivers, or other customers
- Misuse the platform
- Provide false or misleading information
We also reserve the right to remove listings or refuse service when necessary for safety or legal compliance.
10. Intellectual Property
All logos, branding, images, text, features, and content on YumYumRunner™ are property of YumYumRunner LLC and protected by copyright laws.
11. Limitation of Liability
YumYumRunner™ is not liable for:
- Vendor misrepresentation
- Vendor product quality or safety
- Shipping issues (delays, loss, damage)
- Unsafe conditions at a customer’s delivery location
- Third-party service failures
Your use of the platform is at your own risk.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
