Welcome to YumYumRunner™ — the Hampton Roads marketplace connecting small creators, home chefs, artists, makers, bakers, and local entrepreneurs with the community that loves them.

By signing up as a Vendor, you’re joining a platform built on trust, quality, and supporting one another.

Please read these Terms carefully. By registering, listing products, or using the Vendor Dashboard, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to the policies below.

1. Vendor Eligibility

To participate as a Vendor on YumYumRunner™, you must:

Be 18 years of age or older
Provide accurate personal and business information
Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
Be the legal owner/creator of all items you list
Upload required permits and certifications (if applicable)

YumYumRunner™ reserves the right to approve, deny, or revoke vendor access at its discretion.

2. Licenses, Permits & Compliance

Because YumYumRunner™ supports a wide range of local goods, including food and handcrafted items, you must ensure your products are legally compliant.

Food Vendors Must Have:

Cottage Food Operation permit (if applicable)
Required health department certifications
Proper kitchen compliance (when required by state law)
Full ingredient list on all listings
Clear allergen disclosures

Body/Skincare Product Vendors Must Have:

Ingredient lists
FDA-compliant descriptions
No medical claims or misleading language

You Agree That:

You are solely responsible for understanding the legal requirements for your products
You will not list any item requiring a license you do not hold
You will immediately update or remove items if laws or requirements change

Failure to provide required documents may result in suspension or removal.

3. Storefront & Vendor Dashboard Responsibilities

Vendors may create and customize their storefront, including:

Store name
Store description
Logo and banner
Policies
Product listings
Preparation times

You agree to maintain accurate information at all times. Misleading or false descriptions are not permitted.

4. Product Listings

All product listings must:

Be truthful and accurately described
Include clear and original photos
Disclose ingredients and allergens
Provide realistic preparation/processing times
Comply with safety regulations for your product type
Not violate copyright, trademark, or IP laws

Prohibited items include (but are not limited to):

Illegal goods
Weapons
Counterfeit goods
Dangerous or fraudulent items
Any products listed without proper permits

YumYumRunner™ may remove or disable listings that violate policy or pose a risk.

5. Order Fulfillment & Delivery

Vendors are responsible for:

Accepting or declining orders
Preparing products within the stated time
Packaging goods safely
Ensuring proper temperature control for foods until pickup
Having orders ready at the scheduled pickup time

**YumYumRunner™ handles delivery exclusively through vetted, approved drivers who meet our safety, reliability, and service standards. All drivers undergo identity verification, driving-history review, and compliance checks before being allowed to transport Vendor goods.

YumYumRunner™ is not liable for product quality issues resulting from improper Vendor preparation, packaging, or handling prior to pickup.

6. Refunds, Returns & Disputes

YumYumRunner™ allows Vendors to determine their own refund and return policies.

You agree to:

Respond to customer messages within 48 hours
Communicate respectfully and professionally
Resolve issues in good faith
Avoid ignoring or blocking customers

If a Vendor becomes unresponsive or receives multiple complaints, YumYumRunner™ may intervene or pause the account.

7. Commissions & Payouts

YumYumRunner™ retains a 10% marketplace commission on all successful orders.

Payouts:

Are automatic
Follow the system’s scheduled payout cycle
Require accurate payment details from the Vendor
May be delayed for charge-backs or disputes

You are responsible for reporting your income to tax authorities.

8. Fees

Vendors agree to pay the marketplace commission and any optional service fees clearly listed in their dashboard.

YumYumRunner™ will not charge hidden fees. Any new fees will be announced in advance.

9. Prohibited Behavior

Vendors may not:

Sell illegal or unsafe goods
Misrepresent themselves or their products
Harass customers or staff
Circumvent the platform to avoid fees
Create multiple accounts to bypass rules
Spam customers
Engage in fraudulent activities

Violation may lead to immediate suspension.

10. Intellectual Property

You confirm that:

All images, descriptions, and products listed are your own or properly licensed
You will not upload copyrighted materials without permission
You will not use YumYumRunner™ branding in unauthorized ways

YumYumRunner™ may remove any listings or content that violates IP laws.

11. Account Suspension or Removal

Your Vendor account may be suspended or removed if:

You violate any portion of these Terms
You repeatedly cancel/delay orders
You fail to provide required permits
You ignore customer messages
You receive excessive complaints
Fraud, abuse, or illegal activity occurs

YumYumRunner™ reserves the right to safeguard the marketplace environment.

12. Limitation of Liability

YumYumRunner™:

Provides the platform and delivery coordination
Is not the manufacturer of Vendor goods
Is not responsible for Vendor errors, negligence, or non-compliance
Is not liable for damages caused by Vendor conduct

Vendors assume all legal responsibility for the items they create and sell.

13. Changes to These Terms

YumYumRunner™ may update these Terms at any time. Vendors will be notified of major updates. Continued use of the marketplace constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Vendor account, listing products, or using the Vendor Dashboard, you acknowledge that you:

✔ Understand that violation may result in suspension or removal
